Barbati nestles in olive groves on the northeastern coast of the island. Above Barbati rises the highest mountain in Corfu, Pantokrator ( 906m ).
The beach is quite large ( approximately 1 klm ), with pebbles and crystal clear water. A few minutes walk will bring you to several other small, secluded beaches. The main road has a good selection of high quality restaurants and tavernas. From Barbati, one can enjoy the beautiful views of Corfu Town and across the channel to the coast of Albania.
